Ravi Bains talks social care with West Midlands Mayor

The Mayor of West Midlands, Andy Street, visited Sevacare UK, which offers a variety of care and support services, after the organisation signed up to the West Midlands Combined Authority ‘Inclusive Leadership Pledge’, which asks companies and senior leaders to commit to promoting diversity and embedding inclusion across their business.

The Mayor also visited Grosvenor Health & Social Care’s Head Office, where he and Ravi had an in-depth discussion on issues around funding as well as the wider West Midlands agenda on health and social care.

Ravi Bains said: “It is refreshing to meet a senior politician who actually understands and supports the need for social care to be higher on the political agenda.

“Social care has many challenges, but there are also plenty of opportunities – both can only be addressed if social care is taken seriously across all political parties.”

The Mayor thanked Managing Director, Ravi Bains, for his commitment.
