With the Conservative Party leadership race almost drawing to a close, it was refreshing to hear one of the candidates for Prime Minister discussing the potential integration of health and social care budgets.
“This can only lead to a better service and expected savings. I have been an advocate for health and social care integration for many years. I have seen first-hand the benefits of this where it has been trialled in parts of the UK with outstanding success,” said Ravi.
“We lack the political will to resolve this key issue and it is a shame that political parties are yet to stick their neck out and offer a practical solution. A cross-party consensus is required to finally implement the radical changes we need to solve the crisis in care,” Ravi added.
