Ravi Bains responds to State of Care report

Care leaders have called for government action after the CQC laid bare the fragile state of the social care system.

The latest State of Care report reveals a sector facing a perfect storm of funding, workforce and capacity challenges. Here, Ravi Bains reacts to the latest report:

Ravi Bains, Chief Executive of Grosvenor Health & Social Care, said:

“The CQC’s latest ‘State of Care’ report rightly red flags that society’s vulnerable elderly are in need of more care support options. Companies such as Grosvenor Health & Social Care feel passionate about helping plug that growing gap between demand for home care and the number of services currently operating in this market, however we cannot do it alone. Government needs to commit to providing a long-term funding solution for adult social care, as well as work with us to help create a clear and rewarding career path in care.”
